We've not been skiving!

Ok, so we're sorry for the no blogging... but that's because we've both achieved our goal of getting a job!

Unfortunately we haven't got a job as a team, but we feel that this is a good opportunity to get some experience on our own and kick start our careers...

Soooo Beki is now working full time for Liverpool's ad agency studiowide...

...and I'm working as a group marketing assistant at Williams BMW & MINI dealership... which I am having a great time at and learning loads!

This isn't the end of Reilly/ Riley but it is a bit of a pause... we're always in touch and always give each other help with ideas etc for work... so watch out on here for updates in both our new jobs and lives!

Team Reilly/ Riley's New Years resolution is: Focus even more on getting our dream job...

On other news... Beki at the moment is working on a NHS design brief with Studiowide Ltd and I (after finishing at HMV over christmas) am getting on with team Reilly/ Riley work and reading up on lots of books, so watch out!

Studiowide moves in..

I have an exciting week ahead of me, as I have Studiowide's beautiful camera to play with... all to myself! Studiowide is also ready to set up shop (so to speak). Today I helped my freelance boss figure out the layout of the gorgeous office in Rodney Street, it's going to look great once all the furniture is in...

Next week I'm Shadowing Louise Lowe, a brilliant Liverpool based photographer on a fashion shoot, so its swatting up time now!

The pretty white stuff

I went for a little walk through Wigan park the other day, and decided to capture the beauty of the snow! Even though it can be a pain, you have to admit that snow is very pretty...

Beki and I got caught up last wednesday in the student protests in Leeds.

The funniest sign that I saw read: "Is this the queue to see Justin Bieber?"

After we got out of the crowds we got on a bus to a lovely town called Otley to visit a great creative agency.

We thought the agency had a charming family feel and it was in a great location with a lovely scenic view with a river just at the end of the car park. It definitely had a warm close feeling... just what we're looking for...

London

Beki and I went to London last week to see a few agencies... such as Ruby and JWT, we had fun and gained alot from what they said about our book.

We also went to Camden - where Beki was in her element...

Team Reilly&Riley at Waggledance

Ok so we haven't blogged in a while, and that's just because we've been so busy! We have been working together at a new advertising agency in Manchester called Waggledance, previously known as Pravda.

We have learned so much there and grown well together as a team!

Overall we've had a month at Waggledance and are very sad to leave. We will miss the different briefs and clients we had to work with such as WD-40, Garners Pickled Onion and Grey's Fishing tackle. And we'll definitely miss the fooseball tournaments!

We will post some of our ideas up real soon, for now its the end of the beginning for Team Reilly&Riley...
